How to Complete the K-Pop Challenge in BitLife- Become Pop Star
Hey everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today, we’re diving into BitLife’s new challenge – the K-Pop challenge, released alongside the pop star update. Our goal? Become a K-Pop superstar and rack up some major fame. Now, joining a band in BitLife isn’t easy, but we’re going to give it our best shot and push through until we succeed!
Challenge Overview
In this challenge, you need to:
- Be born in South Korea.
- Become a K-Pop artist.
- Gain 1 million YouTube subscribers.
- Achieve 100% fame.
- Have a son named Wanho.
Step 1: Start Your Life in Korea
The first task is to make sure your character is born in South Korea. This is a simple enough step—just choose Korea as your country of birth when starting your new life. Step 2: Start Practicing Music Early
To increase your chances of becoming a successful K-Pop artist, you should focus on building your musical skills early in life. I started taking vocal lessons and learned several instruments during my childhood. Vocal lessons are key because that’s your main tool as a singer, but it also helps to have a wide musical skill set. Drums, keyboard, and violin are great instruments to master. If your parents are rich, this will make it easier for you to afford all those lessons.

Step 3: The Grind for Fame Begins
Once you’ve mastered your instruments and vocal skills, it’s time to get serious about your career. At first, it’s hard to find the right opportunities, and I didn’t even have the option to join a band immediately. But don’t worry if it takes time! I focused on taking as many lessons as possible and joined choir and orchestra activities at school.
When I turned 18, I was ready to take my first step toward becoming a K-Pop artist. However, joining a band right away didn’t work out for me at first. Instead, I tried applying as a solo artist, and though it took a few tries, I eventually landed a solo record deal.
Step 4: Joining a Band or Going Solo
You have two options when it comes to your career: join a band or pursue a solo career. After some struggles, I managed to join a K-Pop band on my second attempt. If you’re struggling to get into a band, consider focusing on solo work first, then try to join a band later.
Once I got into the band, things started to snowball quickly. I released a single called Have You Seen My Kitty?, and to my surprise, it went platinum almost immediately. It’s pretty funny, considering it was my first release, but that’s how things work in BitLife sometimes!

Step 5: Grow Your Fame
Now that you’re a K-Pop artist, it’s time to build up your fame. This is where YouTube comes into play. Open a YouTube account and start posting videos. I chose to post dance videos since dancing is such a big part of K-Pop culture, and it felt like a natural fit.
Gaining subscribers is key to the challenge. I found that posting regularly helped, and my subscriber count grew steadily over time. In between YouTube videos, I made sure to keep up with my music career by releasing more singles and albums.

Step 6: Reaching 100% Fame
One of the trickiest parts of this challenge is achieving 100% fame. Even after your popularity is maxed out, you still need to keep working on your fame level. I went on world tours and released more albums to push my fame to the max. One thing to note is that fame and popularity are slightly different in BitLife, so you have to keep working until your fame bar is completely full.
Step 7: Have a Son Named Wanho
Once you’re well into your K-Pop career, the final step is to have a son named Wanho. You can either have a child naturally or adopt one and name him Wanho to complete the challenge.
